Guest Designer - Javier Martinez

Javier Arturo Martinez is a multi-disciplinary visual artist who was born in Los Angeles, California, and currently lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His primary mediums include mixed media sculpture, photography, and painting.

Growing up in both urban Los Angeles and his grandparents' rural family ranch in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Javier experienced contrasting environments, lifestyles, and cultures. This duality has been a pivotal influence in shaping his cultural identity and is the core of what informs his art practice.

He graduated with a BFA from the California Institute of the Arts in 2000.

For the past 30 years, Javier has been cruising through Slope to shred the gnar & shoot tequila. We are proud to release his Limited Edition Skate Gear !
